Rare Breed Driving Equine
Many of our best loved horses and ponies are on the Rare Breed Survival Trust’s endangered list, amongst those under threat include the Eriskay, Shire Clydesdale and Hackney.
This award aims to highlight the importance of our rare horse and pony breeds in driving disciplines and at the same time to celebrate their heritage and raise awareness of their plight, while preserving their future through our carriage driving sport.
This award is open to any individual horse or pony on the current Rare Breed Survival Trust Endangered Species list.
If you would like to submit your entry via email please email the name of your horse or pony, what category you’re entering, and your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org Please include in this email a word document with your 500-word statement about why your horse or pony should win, and any supporting material. Please also include in the subject line “Carriage Driving Awards Submission”.
