To celebrate the 110th Anniversary we’re bringing back “The President’s Ride”

For all Dales Pony Society members.
We have exclusive use of the Craven country ride and its facilities all day. All riders and their ponies are to be ready for a 10am gathering. The morning ride for everyone will be guided and catering to a steady pace so suitable for nervous riders and young ponies alike. It’s all about creating a social setting for as many Dales ponies to enjoy a relaxing time in the countryside together. There will be several guides so you can enjoy and relax, partnering yourself with someone who will look after you if you needed and the ride is over gentle countryside for approx 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. There are wash down facilities and tie up areas on return, don’t forget to pack a hay net and then enjoy a barbecue lunch.
After lunch a second guided ride will be at a faster pace with jumping for those who want to do more. Or members are welcome to split from the group to do a loop of their own in a smaller group or individually making the most of the “Ride’s” space and facilities.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to create a large gathering of ponies and riders to celebrate how wonderful our special breed of Dales ponies are.
Riders must hold personal public liability insurance for their pony.
Non riders are very welcome to walk around the venue or just come for a chat and join in for lunch.
Matthew Jackson from Lifes-images will be in attendance for photographs.
Rider rate £30 to include Craven Country Ride entrance, lunch and commemorative rosette.
Non rider rate £5 (Craven country ride will want an extra contribution for any dogs on site and they will need to be kept on a lead – see their website for details)
