Maya is looking for a new home due to the recent sad loss of her sister and imminent loss of our flat grazing. 

Maya was backed by me; she is ridden bitless, barefoot and treeless (all tack available).  She is turned out all year round, I now have her unrugged, but she is also happy to be rugged up. I have had her in harness, but Maya is one of life’s worriers and it wasn’t for her.

Maya is a very kind mare and has only been hacked out from here, but due to my long term shoulder injury I didn’t get her out at all last year, so she will need to be brought back into work (I have had her out once so far this year, and she took it all in her stride).  She has been ridden out alone, but prefers company.  Although not spooky she is also not the bravest pony in the world, she has adapted amazingly well to being on her own (with our sheep), but I can’t get another horse without permanent flat winter grazing, and she deserves company. 

She is lovely to handle, well used to dogs, comes to call and is a wonderful character. I am in no rush to sell.

Holds Dales Pony Society Passport and Registration, kept at home near Dover, Kent.
