Matthew has only beeen lightly shown as a youngster, but has had some good sucesses:

2008: Colt Premium at the DPS Spring Show and took the Davies Cup for the Best Yearling Colt

2009: 2nd Colt Premium and won the Straker Smith Cup for the best 2yr old Colt at the DPS Summer Show

2010: 3rd Colt Premium at the DPS Spring Show

and won the Miss Mole Cup for the best 3yr and over Stallion

followed by the D and G Eccles Rosebowl for Younstock Champion and the J W Dalton Salver for Overall Champion at the DPS Summer Show

On 13 June 2010 at the Longton PUK Championship Show:

Matthew was first in the Polyanna Home Produced Class against 12 other Mixed M and M Ponies

He then went on to win the Poolton Memorial Trophy as Supreme Champion of the show
