Born in 1986, the first foal out of Raygill Gemma (sire Ashwood Black Prince), Lowhouses
Anna has produced her 19th foal for Richie and Freda Longstaff in Teesdale, Co. Durham. Ten
colt foals and three filly foals by Lummas Prince II and from 2004 five filly foals
and this year's colt by Slateyford Diamond. Not a bad record!
Anna has been shown in hand many times, her first success winning the Overall Foal Cup

Anna's progeny are far and wide and have also had many successes in the show ring.
See her progeny page.
Not a bad record for a brood mare. You could not wish for a quieter pony
to deal with and hopefully she will be with us for some time yet.
Anna's full sister, 12 year old Lowhouses Rebecca, has also won many prizes in the show ring
and last year was the overall reserve champion and best brood mare at the Summer Breed Show
at Barnard Castle.
